Like classic “bomber jacket” leather, Tribe is produced on thicker than average hides for a rugged texture. The hides are drum-dyed and then coated with a light transparent sheen. Each hide is then individually hand-rubbed in random areas, which varies the coloration and enhances the sheen. Tribe hides look naturally worn and comfortable, with the sheen and texture varying throughout the hide, as if the leather has been in use for decades.
