(Updated May 1st, 2020) Cortina Leathers has been granted Essential Business status in accordance with the State of Ohio. During this time the health and safety of our employees is our top priority. We are currently operating with all staff who are able working remotely and with an extremely limited number of workers at our manufacturing plant in order to fulfill the essential needs of our customers. These essential workers are following social distancing practices in thoroughly cleaned and sanitized workspaces.

We continue to produce leather and ship from stock on a reduced schedule. Our Customer Service team is available to handle all needs and inquiries.

As events unfold, we will adjust our operations in order to protect our employees and continue our exceptional customer service to you. We are committed to take every action possible to ensure project needs are being met. Below is the most up-to-date information regarding sales, customer service and lead times. 

Sales Team / Showrooms

Our sales team and partner showrooms are working remotely and available to answer your questions and send samples. Contact your sales representative to arrange for samples and virtual product presentations. 

Customer Service

Your customer service team is working remotely and remains available to handle every request. While in many cases you should not notice a difference, at times you may be working with a different team member or go into voicemail. Rest assured we will respond to you within a short period of time.

Samples

We are happy to send samples to your home or office. Samples will ship out Monday through Friday from our Ohio warehouse. Please contact us at samples@cortinaleathers.com. 

Production and Shipping Lead Times

We continue to ship from stock out of our Ohio warehouse weekly with a reduced staff. 

Beginning April 13th, we will produce leather on a limited schedule to meet essential needs of our customers. We will have full production capabilities, including custom matches. Lead times may be extended due to the reduced staffing and schedule. Please contact your sales or customer service representative to inquire about lead times.

Italian tanneries are currently scheduled to reopen and begin shipping on May 5th. Upon reopening, orders will be processed according to the order date and priority. 

Due to restricted air travel from Europe, all deliveries of hides and finished leathers from Europe will be shifted to sea containers, adding two weeks to the freight time. We are estimating 3-4 weeks lead time for all orders shipping from Italy. For rush orders, air freight is availabe with premium charges.

Leather Designed to be Disinfected

A relevant reminder, our full-finished leathers and our leathers protected by Crypton® can be cleaned and disinfected with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes and Clorox Clean Up Spray Cleaner with Bleach and other common household cleaners and disinfectants.
