Bavaria is also protected against abrasion and wear, is resistant to staining, and is treated with added flame retardants to meet aviation, marine and the most stringent contract performance requirements.

Bavaria is produced in a tannery which has been audited to the Leather Working Group environmental stewardship and traceability standards. Further enhancing its sustainability profile, Bavaria is finished without the use of solvents or lead, emits low VOCs and has achieved an Indoor Advantage Gold certificate from SCS.
