Ice cream shops are naturally joyful places, and Little Sweetz serves up that spirit with a fresh, welcoming interior that's as delightful as the treats on the menu.

Sam Smith of One Smith Story created an inviting space that pairs a light, airy aesthetic with cheerful color and clean, contemporary furnishings. Large windows fill the interior with natural light, while warm wood finishes, crisp white tables, and soft blue seating create a comfortable setting for guests to enjoy their favorite frozen treats.

When dreaming up the space, Sam reached out to Crypton and Cortina Leathers for upholstery that could stand up to the inevitable drips, dribbles, and sticky fingers. The result? A fully custom robin's-egg blue leather, developed by Cortina with Crypton protection to deliver the stain resistance, cleanability, and durability to stand up to the drips and dribbles of a busy ice cream shop.

The distinctive color adds a scoop of personality to the upholstered banquettes, complementing the shop's playful branding while maintaining a polished, cohesive aesthetic. Cortina's extra-large hides, with consistent color and grain, also allowed for long, uninterrupted upholstery panels, giving the seating a beautifully tailored appearance.
